PATIENT SO AFRAID OF RESPIRATORY THERAPIST’S UNSAFE CARE THAT HE REFUSES BIPAP MACHINE AND SOON THEREAFTER SUFFERS A HEART ATTACK

On September 13, 2021, my husband, Tom, and I went to our primary doctor, Dr. H, because my husband was lethargic.  An x-ray showed his lungs were clear, but not good.  The doctor said, “it's probably an allergy.”  The following day we went to Dr. S, a cardiologist who also said that his lungs were clear but to do a stress test “later on, not to worry, and to keep our travel plans.”  I cancelled our travel plans as my husband looked tired and sleepy to me.

On September 15, Tom drove me to my endocrinologist appointment as we were always together.  That night Tom had a fever.  We called a family nurse and Tom took Ester-C, Ibuprofen, Famotidine, etc.  His fever went down but on September 16 we went to a lab and did saliva tests, which were both negative!
