Greater Regional Medical Center and Des Moines Lutheran Hospital, Iowa
My mom got the Moderna vaccine shot April 8th 2021. Over next few weeks, she stopped eating and drinking. We took her out to Greater Regional Medical Center on 4/28/2021. Her symptoms: stroke-like symptoms, kidney failure, slurred speech. Then the only thing hospital did was give her fluids and antibiotics and a fecal test. They sent her home saying she was just dehydrated.
Before I took her out to emergency room, my wife called her case manager for Amerigroup, Ruth Bollinger, who told us to take her to Creston Hospital instead of Des Moines Hospital. Her symptoms got worse, took her back to emergency room on 5/3/2021. They ended up admitting her. My wife and I both had power of attorney. It was late Monday when we took her [back to the emergency room]. I had to go home at 5 p.m., cause visiting hours ended then.
Tuesday, I went back out. Told the nurse and doctor what she was allergic to, changed her doctor and found out they did a echo cardiogram, but they wouldn’t have the results for couple days, they said. They never really told us what the cause was or what happened.
Mom wasn’t feeding herself, so I had to help her eat and drink – no nurse or helper helped her. We were told she could do her rehab at the hospital; they lied and forced us to put her in a nursing home. At the nursing home, it was same. She couldn’t eat or drink by herself, I had to help her. No nurse helped either.
She fell out of her bed at the nursing home because the bed wasn’t big enough, and they knew she was fall risk. She went septic on 5/19/2021. They transferred her back to Greater Regional Medical Center where I asked them to transfer to Des Moines Hospital. Doctor Epp argued with me, but they finally transferred my mom to Des Moines Lutheran Hospital.
Just want justice, she didn’t deserve this. She trusted the people who murdered her.
We told them everything and symptoms, told them about the Moderna vaccine shot, and they openly mocked us, saying, “No vaccine would ever cause,” this nurse said. They never listened.
People need to know the truth. Innocent people were murdered by insurance companies, doctors, nurses and pharaceutical companies.
My mom passed away 5/21/2021. We asked for an autopsy, even signed paperwork for an autopsy. One hour later, they called me asking where I wanted her to go. No. autopsy – saying, “The coroner looked at a old x-ray, so he didn’t think autopsy was needed.”

My sympathies to you and your family on the loss of your mother. I am an MD-PhD and retired.
In July, I was hospitalized and knew the diagnosis was wrong. I left, went to another hospital - left went to ED- and until I treated myself, I was at death's door. At 78 years- I am not strong, and the system sees white hair frailty and gets ready to let us die. I contacted four attorneys after, and each one said I had no case. Like you, I want justice, but I am afraid you are not alone... heartbreaking and unnecessary. I did not have the COVID-19 vaccine and lied when admitted - I think malice and ineptness are at the core of many of our deaths at this time.
I have hired a Patient Advocate - to be my eyes and ears as I travel this journey - it might be a good idea for you and your family to connect with one as well. Insurance, Big Pharma, and greedy professionals are a real danger- and the hospitals are rife with Septic Shock - Good for you to share your heartbreak and to expose as best you can...Doc
No longer are hospitals where people go to get well. No longer are nurses see as the most trusted and supportive in healthcare. No longer can I recommend nursing to young folks because I know they won't be educated in the holistic spirit of Florence Nightingale to fight for the rights of those they care for.
