Delray Beach, Florida; Delray Medical Center
I have a daily detailed event log of the entire hospitalization. I have photos and the medical records were review by me as I am a Registered Nurse certified in Forensics. It is hard to rehash the entire event. I provided information that will help to summarize my story. Thank you for all you are doing.
I have pictures of malnourishment and covered in bedsores and feces when brought home on hospice, I have photograph and the Trust Bridge Hospice nurse has photographs of the mistreatment. I do not feel up to displaying the photos at this time but would provide in the future if needed.
The world can't possibly ever understand the pain and heartache that a Trauma/ER nurse, as myself, has endured knowing that your entire universe, the love of your life, your soulmate the person who counted on you to care for them-was so horribly mistreated by colleagues even after begging to allow me to come into the hospital and care for my husband to no avail. In the end, I had to fight for two days to bring JB home on hospice. I at least got a last kiss, a last hand hold, and the opportunity to say I love you to him one last time but the images of his bodily injury after 33 days in the care of medical professionals will never leave my mind.

I am so terribly sorry to read this. We are a sick society governed by rules that have zero regard for humanity, especially for those at the end of their lives, hastened or natural.
