Cleveland Clinic Main Campus: Cleveland, OhioThank you for reading American Frontline Nurses The Remembrance Project. This post is public so feel free to share it. My story is as follows: I have an adult daughter with special needs – her name is Jillian Friedman. Jillian was born with multiple disabilities in 1991, and it took years of heartache and great trial to figure all of them out. Most of her disabilities are genetic, as my husband and I were carriers and gave her the diseases she was born with.
This story breaks my heart. Miracle she lived, nightmare for the whole family, hope mom is doing better. I never will never understand how so quickly 'do not harm' could be turned into a killing machine. Working through Covid was like a light going off where everyone's true colors were seen. Very few refused, most just went along and a few psychopaths took it to another level, just like The Stanford Prison Experiment. I now work with the people who I know what they are capable of. I'm grateful the good Lord stood beside me and continues to guide my actions today.
